A very successful season for the 50s ,a league and cup double ! John Munro made it a hat trick of trophies by winning the Golden Boot award for his 10 goals.  Our congratulations go to all the players for a well deserved promotion to the Premier Division.Only one narrow defeat all season and the divisions top scorers with the meanest defence by a country mile ! Well done lads for a brilliant season playing some exceptional football consistently.

Playing competitive league football for the first time the team can feel very pleased with a very creditable 4th place finish. Games were played on a wednesday morning which sometimes meant work commitments prevented players from playing. Injuries too meant players having to sit games out but that’s football life ! That said, the team proved very resilient and difficult to score against conceding only 11 goals. At the other end of the pitch ,Mark Beard and Trevor Jones both scored 4 goals each to share the teams leading goalscorers.Looking forward to building on the successes this season heading into next season.
